Paige and Brody both celebrate a birthday this weekend so they both got to share something this past Friday. Paige wanted to bring in her motorized bunny and share it with the class and Brody wanted to bring in two games of Chess and teach the students how to play! One set that he brought in is so special as it comes from Poland! Brody's dad teaches him how to play this game and he was very good at explaining it to our class! Here are some pictures. Friday morning we had some fun Valentine themed crafts going on in the classroom. The students rotated through five different activities and made lots of unique and adorable things! Here are some pictures from these workshops, some of the students passing out their valentines that afternoon and some of the "heart maps" that we worked on last week. I also included a few samples of what students wrote when asked "What Does Love Mean To Me?". They are sweet! Thank you to the parents that volunteered their time for the craft workshops so that we could make this happen. We appreciate it!
